Commscope builds latin america’s Largest ruckus® network for Paraná schools

CommScope’s RUCKUS division partnered with the state government of Paraná, Brazil, to modernize connectivity across 2,000 public schools and support digital‑learning initiatives like EduTech. The challenge was massive: upgrade aging networks to reliably serve more than 900,000 students and handle roughly 600,000 simultaneous users statewide.

Working with local integrator Seger Technology, CommScope deployed 23,500 RUCKUS R320 and R350 access points to create Latin America’s largest RUCKUS‑based network. The rollout delivered fast, stable, and scalable Wi‑Fi across the state, enabling widespread access to online classes and programs and meeting the government’s requirements for ease of installation, performance, and growth.
