Cobram Estate Olives powers autonomous forklifts across a 5,000 sqm warehouse with RUCKUS Networks

Cobram Estate Olives, a vertically integrated olive oil producer, faced operational risk when introducing autonomous forklifts in its large warehouse. The existing Wi-Fi network had inconsistent coverage and unreliable roaming, which could cause the entire automated workflow to stop, impacting production and efficiency. To address this critical challenge, they partnered with RUCKUS Networks.

RUCKUS implemented a purpose-built Wi-Fi 6 solution using R550 access points managed via the RUCKUS One cloud platform. This design-focused approach ensured seamless roaming and reliable connectivity for the autonomous vehicles, eliminating network-related disruptions. The results were immediate, enabling continuous movement of goods and transforming the wireless network into a dependable part of the production line. The solution also provided centralized visibility for IT and has become a blueprint for the company's expansion.
