Campsite generating additional revenue with high-performance Wi-Fi infrastructure

Arena Hospitality Group, which manages 26 properties across Croatia, Germany and Hungary (more than 10,000 rooms), needed to deliver stable, high‑performance Wi‑Fi at its Arena Grand Kažela campsite in Istria. The challenge was to cover roughly 1,000 m² of indoor and outdoor areas—supporting multiple simultaneous streams, Mobile TV/IPTV, IoT and video surveillance—while simplifying management to handle peak‑season device density and reduce guest complaints.

Dvigrad Telekom installed a RUCKUS solution with 225 indoor and 75 outdoor access points managed by a SmartZone controller (BeamFlex, dual‑band support), creating a future‑proof network. The upgrade produced higher guest satisfaction and positive reviews, fewer staff time on complaints, lower maintenance costs, and new revenue opportunities via in‑app promotions and personalized TV channels.
