108 Military Central Hospital, Vietnam’s largest and most modern medical facility, struggled with unreliable Wi‑Fi that couldn’t meet growing coverage, density, bandwidth or integration needs for critical medical systems and external software. The hospital needed a scalable, IoT‑ready network to support thousands of daily patients, advanced operating rooms and evolving connected medical devices.

Working with BMA‑Viettel and CommScope RUCKUS, the hospital deployed RUCKUS access points (R320/R510), ICX 7150-24P and 7450-48F PoE switches and a SmartZone 100 controller, plus custom integration software. The upgrade delivered 150% faster connectivity, doubled service reliability with 100% uptime, boosted patient/staff satisfaction and increased staff productivity by about 30%, while enabling easier deployment of future IoT and medical infrastructure.
