Royal Garden Hotel, a 400‑room luxury property on Kensington High Street in London, faced an aging network that struggled with blackspots, limited concurrent-device capacity, no Chromecast support and little visibility for monitoring—issues that affected guest experience and operational efficiency in a large, concrete-and-steel building.

RUCKUS deployed a modern solution of 400 indoor/outdoor Wi‑Fi 6 APs, a Virtual SmartZone controller, 30 ICX7150 switches and RUCKUS Analytics to deliver reliable, scalable coverage across guest rooms, event spaces and back‑of‑house areas. The upgrade enabled Chromecast in rooms, proactive network monitoring, smoother operations (tablet ordering, NFC access, upgraded alarms), zero Wi‑Fi complaints and a future‑proof platform for services like mobile check‑in and mobile keys.
