US Signal Accelerates Growth by Automating End-to-End Workflows at Scale with Rubrik

US Signal, a Michigan-based IT solutions provider with nearly 20 years’ experience delivering backup-as-a-service, DR-as-a-service and managed IT to healthcare, finance and other enterprises, faced growing pains: its existing backup approach couldn’t scale to meet an expanding enterprise customer base, recovery of very large (10TB) VMs was slow and inefficient, and regulated customers required stronger compliance controls.

US Signal implemented Rubrik Cloud Data Management and leveraged Rubrik’s well-documented RESTful APIs to automate end-to-end workflows, accelerate restores (including full VM recovery in minutes), and apply end-to-end encryption across on‑premises and cloud environments. The result was scalable, API-driven data lifecycle management with an efficient UI, reduced data footprint and costs through global deduplication/compression, faster recovery times, and increased traction with compliance-focused customers.
