Netstream AG is a Swiss channel-only cloud provider (founded 1998, ~80 employees) operating two data centers and delivering virtual data centers, VDI, object storage, disaster recovery and hosted UC/VoIP to mid-sized businesses. Managing around 25 PB of data, Netstream had relied on a mix of four to five backup products that was increasingly complex, hard to integrate, error-prone and time-consuming to manage, so they needed to consolidate and simplify backup and multi-tenant operations.

Netstream selected Rubrik for its appliance performance, API openness, multi-client capabilities and automation; installation took only a few hours and Rubrik integrated 3 PB of object storage for tiered backups. The solution enabled faster restores, deduplication-driven storage savings, simpler SLA definition and easier administration, turning backup into a scalable Backup-as-a-Service/DR-as-a-Service revenue stream while significantly reducing manual effort and management time.
