Langs Building Supplies, a Stapylton, Queensland–based manufacturer and supplier of construction products, was hit by a CryptoLocker ransomware attack after an employee clicked an email link. One production file server had roughly 15,000 files encrypted, but monitoring alerted IT within 10 minutes and the affected VDI was isolated before the infection spread.
