Index Living Mall Improves Data Protection and Achieves SLA Compliance with Rubrik

Index Living Mall (ILM) is Thailand’s largest home furnishings retailer, with 30 branches, over 45 furniture centers, operations in 12+ countries and about 4,000 employees who rely on IT for supply chain, inventory and sales. ILM’s tape-centric legacy backup could only protect roughly half its data in an eight-hour window, required manual tape handling and split backup cycles, and left the company unable to meet data protection SLAs and facing lengthy, multi-day restores.

ILM deployed Rubrik’s policy-based, automated data management platform (integrated with Nutanix), enabling daily protection of 100% of data and instant, granular recovery. Results included 2x improved backup performance, restores cut from days to about five minutes, a 25% reduction in management time, RPO reduced to four hours and RTO to five minutes, a 60% smaller data-center footprint, and plans to extend replication and archiving to the cloud.
