Western Elite diverts 165,000 tons of C&D material with Rubicon

Western Elite, a waste and recycling collection service provider in Southern Nevada, partnered with the vendor Rubicon to advance its mission of finding positive waste disposal solutions and diverting materials from landfills. The customer sought to enhance its recycling initiatives and build a more sustainable future for its community.

Rubicon worked with Western Elite to implement innovative recycling programs, including the processing of construction and demolition materials and the launch of a city biosolids recycling program. As a result, Western Elite diverted over 165,000 tons of C&D material from landfills in a single year and created organic compost for agricultural use. Through this partnership with Rubicon, the hauler significantly reduced landfill waste while supporting environmental sustainability.
