Lakeshore Recycling Systems expands with 450 trucks and 7 MRFs with Rubicon

Lakeshore Recycling Systems, a Chicago-based waste and recycling provider, sought to expand its sustainability mission and build out much-needed recycling infrastructure in the Midwest. To help achieve this goal and find viable end markets for materials, the company partnered with Rubicon in 2015.

By collaborating with Rubicon, Lakeshore Recycling Systems enhanced its ability to manage waste more sustainably and create a circular solution. The implementation of Rubicon's services supported the expansion of Lakeshore's operations, which grew to include seven materials recovery facilities and six construction and demolition recycling facilities, significantly diverting waste from landfills.
