Recruit Technologies Closes Critical Security Gaps and Improves Efficiencies with RSA Security

Recruit Technologies, a Tokyo-based subsidiary of the Recruit Group that builds big-data recruiting tools and runs the company’s Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), faced mounting security and operational challenges. Existing WAF and IPS tools generated many false positives and required time-consuming manual forensics and log analysis, slowing incident response and increasing risk to critical customer-facing services.

Recruit implemented RSA NetWitness Suite for behavioral detection and forensic reconstruction and RSA SecurID for multi-factor access control. NetWitness prioritized alerts, exposed hidden vulnerabilities and lateral movement, and enabled automated, 24/7 problem isolation via its API, cutting mitigation time and resource needs without adding headcount; SecurID tightened user authentication. The combined solution delivered faster, more accurate investigations, broader visibility across threat vectors, and stronger protection for Recruit’s applications and customers.
