Implements SOC-based Security with RSA

Berkshire Bank, a 165‑year‑old regional bank with 93 branches across New England and New York, faced growing security challenges as its headcount increased. Manual controls and user‑access reviews were becoming untenable, and the bank needed to centralize security incidents and build a Security Operations Center (SOC) to protect customer and corporate data and move from a reactive to a proactive security posture.

To address this, Berkshire implemented RSA NetWitness Logs and Packets, RSA Archer, and RSA Via Access to centralize logs, risk and policy management, and application access provisioning. The result is real‑time visibility and dashboards, faster detection and minutes‑level response to incidents, streamlined access reviews and audits, and a cultural shift toward proactive security — positioning the bank to scale securely as it grows.
