Large Hospitality Giant, a major hospitality brand, needed a better way to drive loyalty program engagement and strengthen local brand consistency across more than 1,500 properties in 122 countries and territories. With two U.S. print vendors and a separate logistics provider, the company faced high costs, a large carbon footprint, and difficult inventory management. RR Donnelley (RRD) was brought in to help streamline production and distribution, using its CustomPoint end-to-end communications management solution.
RR Donnelley implemented a customized performance improvement plan centered on CustomPoint, along with on-site support, collaborative training, field service guidance, ETQ certification, and daily management calls. The result was a centralized catalog of 400 promotional items, 20,000 orders and 66,000 line items shipped annually, and more than a 12% reduction in shipping and production costs while improving delivery speed.
