PPE Kits Receive Rapid Rollout for State's Health Department

The Department of Health and Human Services worked with RR Donnelley (RRD) to rapidly launch a PPE kit program funded by CARES Act relief dollars. Faced with tight timelines, volatile PPE supply chains, return handling needs, and complex sourcing and fulfillment requirements, the state needed a single partner to manage the initiative from start to finish.

RR Donnelley took ownership of the full PPE kit supply chain, including sourcing, kitting and packaging, print materials, fulfillment, returns management, and daily delivery reporting. The result was the successful production of 16,000 PPE kits containing 6,864,000 PPE devices, all delivered to home healthcare workers within four weeks.
