Large Multinational Company, a multinational company entering the luxury cruise market, needed a way to reimagine passenger welcome packs while managing major supply chain complexity. Working with RR Donnelley, the company had to coordinate order management, quality control, device configuration, kitting, labeling, and fulfillment across 12 welcome kit combinations for an estimated 200,000 passengers in year one.

RR Donnelley implemented an integrated end-to-end welcome pack supply chain, including bulk shipment of wearable devices, BLE activation and RFID logging, passenger name etching, printing of luggage tags and shipping labels, and packing into 100% compostable mailer bags. The result was a single point of contact with improved personalization, sustainability, order-to-delivery visibility, and on-time delivery for standard and expedited orders, all supported by a solution designed to scale as the fleet grows.
