Full Support of Supplier Diversity Initiative Reaches Spend Goal

Global Utility Company, a global utility provider, needed full support for an enterprise-wide supplier diversity initiative and turned to its long-standing forms and labels services provider, RR Donnelley (RRD), to help reach its annual 10% diversity spend goal. The challenge was to find qualified diverse suppliers capable of supporting envelope production and forms/statement printing and mailing services while meeting compliance requirements.

RR Donnelley identified and partnered with approved, certified M/WBE suppliers, then monitored and reported Tier 2 direct spend monthly through the client’s automated portal. RRD also conducted annual supplier reviews to track performance and expectations. As a result, Global Utility Company met its corporate compliance and governance objectives, and the program created opportunities for additional diverse-supplier categories including envelopes, forms, direct mail, mail services, digital content, and paper.
