Royal Cyber helped a municipal government in Ontario, Canada, which was challenged by the fact that IBM does not support Watson portlet integration with a virtual portal in its WebSphere Portal server. The customer also wanted to upgrade from WebSphere Portal 6.1 to version 8.5 and enable new features like Watson Analytics.

Royal Cyber implemented a custom procedure to install the Watson portlet and configure single sign-on (SSO) with the portal, enabling the previously unsupported integration. The vendor also successfully managed the full migration to WebSphere Portal 8.5, making all applications responsive and configuring SSO with Active Directory.
