A Royal 4 Systems Case Study
Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, Inc., which operates a Parts Distribution Centre serving 90 dealers across Canada (handling about 500,000 lines and 40,000 orders per year), needed to modernize and automate its DC and dealer-ordering systems while maintaining complex interfaces with Mitsubishi corporate/divisional systems, multiple dealer systems (French and English), Port Authority systems and off-site inventory locations. After evaluating several options, Mitsubishi selected Royal 4 Systems’ WISE WMS to address these integration, fulfillment and freight-management challenges.
Royal 4 Systems implemented the WISE WMS with on-site project managers and go-live support, enabling dealer orders to be transmitted and received on day one and allowing inbound receiving, put-away, picking/packing, shipping and returns processing to proceed without data loss or disruption. As a result, Mitsubishi fulfilled every order during the transition, maintained accurate inventory and continued reliable service to dealers — validating Royal 4 Systems’ WISE WMS as an effective solution for automotive parts distribution.
