Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) needed a better way to manage warehouse materials and supplies that support Los Angeles World Airports operations and nine terminals — about $5 million in annual transactions, roughly 80% of which supply terminals and facilities. Royal 4 Systems was selected to address LAX’s inventory, order-management and distribution challenges using its WISE WMS software.

Royal 4 Systems delivered a turnkey WISE WMS implementation integrated with LAX’s SAP environment, enabling dynamic location management and directed pick/pack/ship functionality for the main warehouse and nine terminals. The integration lets orders be managed in both SAP and WISE, providing true real-time visibility and valuation by location; the project earned praise from LAWA leadership and an award for Royal 4 Systems, with measurable impact on inventory control for the roughly $5M in annual material transactions.
