The world's most efficient data center faced a challenge with its unsustainable consumption of millions of gallons of municipal water monthly for server cooling, which had reached its permissible limits and was preventing growth. To maintain its expansion, the customer needed a new, environmentally responsible facility with its own water source and treatment capabilities. RoviSys was selected as the vendor to provide a comprehensive building management system solution.

RoviSys implemented a Rockwell ControlLogix FT View solution to integrate a new groundwater system, which included design, documentation, and full commissioning. The result allows the data center to source over 1.5 million gallons of water per month from an underground river instead of the municipal supply, enabling environmentally responsible expansion. RoviSys also integrated the new systems into the existing HMI, which required no additional management resources and resulted in substantial financial savings for the customer.
