The City of Portland Water Bureau needed more efficient full-day routes for nearly 200,000 meters across its service area; its existing manual routing process was time-consuming and often inaccurate. Using RouteSmart Technologies’ software, the bureau re-routed 182,000 meters into more efficient routes, creating equitable employee workloads and more balanced cycle days.
