Wilfrid Laurier University builds its first Asset Management Plan in 4 months with Roth IAMS

Wilfrid Laurier University sought to develop its first comprehensive Asset Management Plan (AMP) for its extensive facilities and infrastructure across two campuses. Although not mandated to do so, the university partnered with vendor Roth IAMS to create this plan as a key part of its Campus Capital Plan.

Roth IAMS leveraged existing data from a Province-Wide Building Condition Assessment to develop the AMP. The solution included establishing Levels of Service, integrating the university's Carbon Reduction Roadmap, and enhancing its preventive maintenance program. Roth IAMS delivered a clear plan with an infographic and a roadmap for the future evolution of the asset management program, providing Wilfrid Laurier University with a foundational strategic document for managing its assets.
