University of Tennessee, Knoxville completes 2-building asset pilot under budget with Roth IAMS

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville engaged Roth IAMS to conduct a pilot program that combined Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) with Equipment Inventory & Tagging (EI&T) across select buildings. The challenge was to integrate this newly collected asset data into the university's existing Oracle CMMS, which required significant coordination across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Roth IAMS implemented its solution using SLAM CAP and SLAM EQUIP for data collection, leading a collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach to ensure a seamless system integration. The pilot project was completed under budget and established a repeatable pathway for a future campus-wide initiative. Roth IAMS helped UTK improve data quality, increase visibility into equipment assets, and enhance long-term capital planning confidence.
