St. Lawrence College identifies over $5.0 million in accessibility improvements with Roth IAMS

St. Lawrence College required comprehensive accessibility audits for its three campuses to identify barriers hindering accessibility in compliance with the Ontario Building Code and AODA. To address this challenge, the college engaged vendor Roth IAMS, operating through FCAPX, to perform the audits using structured checklists and detailed on-site assessments.

Roth IAMS conducted the audits using conventional and digital tools to accurately measure and photograph barriers across all functional spaces. The solution provided by Roth IAMS identified over $5.0 million in required improvements, leading to substantial funding requests. The project's success has significantly enhanced the inclusivity of the college's facilities, allowing students, staff, and visitors with disabilities to navigate with greater ease and confidence.
