Regional District of Fraser-Fort George builds a 20-year capital plan with Roth IAMS

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George (RDFFG) enlisted Roth IAMS to conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) for a selection of its facilities. The challenge was to establish benchmarks for future assessments and create a strategic framework for asset management to inform maintenance and capital investment decisions.

Roth IAMS delivered comprehensive FCAs for each building using customized engineering report templates tailored to RDFFG's standards, along with a Risk-Based Matrix for prioritization. The project's success led RDFFG to commission Roth IAMS for additional assessments, which provided the district with a clear understanding of its capital requirements for the next 20 years, enabling strategic planning and enhancing the long-term sustainability of its assets.
