Georgian College saves $25,177 a year with Roth IAMS energy audits

Georgian College sought to identify energy efficiency opportunities at its Owen Sound Campus to reduce utility costs and energy consumption. They engaged vendor Roth IAMS to conduct a comprehensive energy audit to meet these goals.

Roth IAMS performed an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit, which included analyzing utility bills, conducting a site visit, and benchmarking energy use. The solution provided by Roth IAMS identified measures that could save 337 GJ of natural gas and 204,319 kWh of electricity annually, leading to cost savings of approximately $25,177 per year and a reduction of 33.28 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
