City of Vancouver saves $256,000 with Roth IAMS facility assessments

The City of Vancouver required a partner to conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs) for its large and diverse portfolio of over 650 buildings. To address this challenge, the city selected vendor Roth IAMS through a public RFP process to provide expert FCA services and help guide its asset management strategies.

Roth IAMS implemented a multiyear FCA program starting in 2018. The solution delivered reliable data and streamlined processes. A key factor was the strategic use of a cooperative purchasing contract through Canoe Procurement Group, which provided significant cost efficiencies for the city. The partnership with Roth IAMS saved the City of Vancouver approximately $256,000 to date, with additional savings expected through 2029.
