The Royal Victoria Hotel Snowdonia, a 104-bedroom hotel at the foot of Snowdon, needed a better way to manage rotas, working hours, and leave for its 75- to 95-person team. Using Excel spreadsheets and paper timesheets made it difficult to track attendance accurately, record absence, and calculate labour costs, so the hotel turned to RotaCloud.
RotaCloud provided a rota system with automatic staffing-cost forecasting and reporting, plus easier tracking of hours, leave, sickness, and absences in one place. The hotel also adopted multiple clock-in options, including a smartphone app, tablet terminals, and a PC terminal, saving time and improving visibility over manning costs and workforce records.
