Cavendish Bakery is an independent craft bakery in Eastbourne operating two shops, a wholesale service and two lunch vans with around 20 staff across two sites. Before adopting RotaCloud the team relied on manually created rotas posted in-store, which was time-consuming, made tracking holiday entitlement and avoiding overlapping requests difficult, and meant absent staff often missed schedule updates.
Since switching to RotaCloud (user since Nov 2014) staff receive automatic rota emails and can check their hours 24/7, ensuring everyone has the latest schedule. The system was quick to set up and easy to use for both managers and employees, helping the bakery plan staffing more effectively and save time.
