East Anglian Air Ambulance, which provides helicopter emergency medical services across East Anglia, needed a faster and more reliable way to manage staff coverage. Its rota planning was previously handled in a Dropbox spreadsheet, creating access issues, time-consuming updates, and frequent reprinting of schedules at its two bases. The result was a more reliable rota available to all staff, with manual staff-hours calculations and shift reporting reduced significantly and information available instantly, freeing up clinicians’ time.
