Landsec, one of the UK’s leading real estate companies, was operating a fully paper-based invoice process before 2020. As volumes grew, the team struggled with multiple preprocessing steps, emailed invoices that had to be printed, and complex tenancy structures that made template-based approaches and disconnected systems impractical. The company needed a scalable digital solution that could handle invoices, credit notes, and related financial workflows efficiently.

Rossum implemented an AI document processing solution integrated with Landsec’s ICE workflow and validation process, enabling invoices to be captured from email, processed by Rossum AI, and routed for automated checks, 3-way matching, and payment. Rossum also began supporting remittance advice processing for accounts receivable. The result was 91.6% time saved per document, 84% automation, and validation reduced to 4.5 seconds per document, helping Landsec work remotely with minimal disruption and much faster throughput.
