Case Study: The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute improves stakeholder perception with Rosov Consulting

A Rosov Consulting, LLC Case Study

The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute maps 27 stakeholder interviews and 10 peer organizations with Rosov Consulting

The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, a long-standing center for ideas and research in the humanities and social sciences, sought to assess its reputation among key stakeholders as it implemented a new strategic approach. The Institute engaged Rosov Consulting to understand how it was perceived, what it did well, and where it could improve, as this understanding was critical to its goal of influencing public discourse on complex issues in Israel.

Rosov Consulting conducted in-depth interviews with a range of informed observers and mapped the competitive landscape of similar organizations. The research revealed that while the Institute was highly regarded for its academic integrity, its public identity was unclear. This key insight prompted VLJI to reframe its public messaging around addressing polarization. As a result of Rosov Consulting's work, the Institute gained critical insights that directly informed important changes to its strategic implementation.
