Harold Grinspoon Foundation expands LIFE & LEGACY to 72 communities with Rosov Consulting

The Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) sought to assess the impact and future potential of its long-running LIFE & LEGACY initiative, a program designed to help Jewish communities build endowments. After a decade of operation, HGF engaged Rosov Consulting to evaluate the program's effectiveness and determine how to protect their investment to ensure endowment building remained a community priority.

Rosov Consulting implemented a comprehensive evaluation through interviews and surveys of community partners and grassroots organizations. The results affirmed the program's success in growing endowments and changing philanthropic culture, leading directly to HGF's decision to launch the LIFE & LEGACY Plus initiative, which provided an additional four years of funding to all 72 participating communities. The evaluation also provided crucial insights that helped HGF develop new strategies for sustaining the program's impact, including creating tools for board engagement and planning new peer communities of practice.
