KOHO used Rosette’s Match Identity to reduce manual review of payee information and improve payment processing. KOHO processes tens of thousands of daily transfers between individuals via SMS and email, as well as batch payroll deposits, but delays in payments hurt the customer experience and a complex internal matching system created too many errors.

Rosette’s fuzzy name matching solution automated approval with high accuracy for both real-time and batch matching, averaging 2–3 milliseconds and under 200 milliseconds globally. The result was a 54% decrease in manual reviews, from 930 to 430, a 25% reduction in labor costs, and enough savings to support a new line of business for out-of-network third-party transfers.
