Vi, a national senior-living operator (formerly Classic Residence by Hyatt) that runs 10 continuing care communities, needed a scalable training solution to reduce language barriers between residents and nonnative-English-speaking staff and to give managers the chance to learn employees’ native languages. The organization wanted a program that fit its award-winning culture of training and development and would improve resident experience and staff communication.

Vi rolled out Rosetta Stone® Language Lessons v3 through its E‑Campus LMS with a one-hour-per-week requirement, HR-led local coaching, and corporate marketing support. The initiative boosted resident satisfaction by 5.3%, produced strong resident recommendation rates (reported as high as 90%), and helped Vi score 10% higher than peers on employee perceptions of training and development.
