Summit Imaging, a specialist in repairing ultrasound and mammography equipment, was held back by growth pains from 2015 onward: inventory tracked in a 2006 Access database, finances in QuickBooks, and a makeshift Salesforce setup. Those three disconnected systems plus paper-based, manual workflows left the company without real-time visibility into inventory, repairs, sales or cost of sales and delayed reporting by weeks.

Summit implemented Rootstock Cloud ERP on the Salesforce platform (with FinancialForce for accounting), customized the Rootstock Configurator for transducer repairs, and automated workflows from opportunities to work orders and purchasing. The unified solution replaced the three silos, enabled same-day transactions, real-time inventory and repair tracking, faster reporting and improved repair turnaround—positioning Summit Imaging to scale and serve customers more efficiently.
