Pacer Group, founded in 1979 in Sarasota, FL, is a manufacturer and distributor of wire, cable and complete electrical systems that runs both small-lot, complex assemblies and higher-volume production plus traditional distribution. The company’s legacy on-premise ERP had become cumbersome and lacked deep manufacturing functionality, while Pacer needed a cloud solution that would integrate with its existing Salesforce tools, avoid costly in-house servers, and allow easier customization and mobility.

Pacer selected Rootstock Cloud ERP on the Salesforce platform and deployed it first on its high-volume manufacturing line (implementation Feb–Dec 2014).
