The National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) and the AIM-HI Accelerator Fund faced a challenge in engaging their global supporter base with a flexible, covid-safe event after a 2020 cancellation. They sought a hybrid event platform that offered more long-term value and interaction than basic video conferencing tools like Zoom. They selected the rooom eventCloud platform for this initiative.

rooom implemented a hybrid event featuring a live stream with leading speakers and an interactive 3D lobby. The solution doubled attendance, with over 100 virtual registrants from around the world joining a similar number of in-person guests. The platform provided a reusable, always-on space for content, leading to a library of materials for future use and plans to reutilize the platform for a patient seminar series.
