A rooom Case Study
The District of Kitzinger Land aimed to promote local artists but faced the challenge of hosting physical exhibitions during the pandemic. They needed a way to make the art show viewable independent of time and place. They turned to the vendor rooom and its experienceCloud platform to create a digital vernissage.
rooom implemented a virtual gallery by creating detailed 3D models of the 15 selected artworks through 3D scanning. The solution allowed for a virtual opening event and enabled global visitors to explore the exhibition, view art in 3D, and even project it into their own homes via Augmented Reality by scanning QR codes. The result was a completely successful, innovative format that allowed the artists to reach a broader international audience, with the exhibition being accessible to everyone everywhere at any time.
