The nature experience region Natura Jenensis, managed by the city of Jena, sought to modernize its tourism offerings by creating a more engaging and educational experience for visitors. Their challenge was to bridge the gap between nature-based and virtual experiences to meet rising tourist demands for interactive environmental education and to attract younger, tech-savvy audiences.

The vendor rooom implemented an immersive mixed reality app featuring augmented reality objects, 3D animations, and 360° panoramas. This rooom solution brought hidden four experience paths. The results included the creation of a unique, sustainable knowledge-transfer destination that successfully expanded its target audience and was honored with the Thuringian Tourism Award in 2019.
