Ireland East Hospital Group, the largest and most complex hospital group in Ireland, needed a better way to manage employee parking across two locations. Staff were often unsure whether they would find a space in the basement car park and, if not, had to use a second car park 15 minutes away or pay for parking nearby. Ronspot was introduced to bring fairness and reduce the stress of commuting by giving employees a clearer way to access parking.

Ronspot implemented a parking management system with credit-based booking so IEHG could allocate basement spaces fairly and automate reservations. Employees received two weekly credits to book parking, while administrators saw little to no ongoing overhead beyond initial setup. The solution also helped with reporting parking violations, and IEHG said the main challenge of limited spaces among many employees had been managed seamlessly, with staff embracing the system.
