The customer, Omnyfy, an enterprise ecommerce PaaS platform, faced significant challenges due to manual infrastructure setup and deployments across its numerous AWS accounts. This manual process, handled by BASH scripts, led to slow time-to-market for new marketplaces, high operational overhead, and an increased risk of human error. The vendor, Romexsoft, was engaged to implement a solution using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation.

Romexsoft implemented an automated AWS CI/CD pipeline using Terraform for IaC and migrated scripts from BASH to Ansible. The solution included building a Golden AMI with Hashicorp Packer and orchestrating the process with AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy. This resulted in a dramatically accelerated time to market, reducing new marketplace launches from several days to just one business day. Romexsoft's solution also cut infrastructure provisioning time from 48 hours to 2 hours, significantly reducing operational overhead and improving overall platform reliability and performance.
