Valeo, the automotive supplier and partner to automakers worldwide, needed to design and supply versatile, cost-effective micro-urban eMobility solutions while speeding up development cycles. To do this, Valeo worked with Romax Technology and used Romax software and engineering services for CAE-led design across integrated electric driveline systems.

Romax Technology helped Valeo adopt a simulation-driven process for gear, machine, and system-level analysis, including belt-drive design and NVH assessment, enabling the team to eliminate one physical prototype iteration. The result was a more robust right-first-time design approach and a measured 7 to 9 month reduction in development time, with the drive unit launched in just 18 months from project start.
