Tümosan use Romax Enduro to develop the next generation of robust automatic transmissions

Tümosan, a Turkish manufacturer of tractors, drivelines, and transmission products, needed to develop a next-generation 6+1 automatic transmission with an integrated torque converter that could handle double the torque of its previous driveline while maintaining durability, efficiency, and quieter operation. To meet this challenge, Tümosan worked with Romax Technology and used Romax Enduro, along with Romax Concept and CAD Fusion, to support the design and analysis process.

Romax Technology helped Tümosan use duty cycle conversion, design optimization, and high-fidelity simulation to rapidly evaluate thousands of transmission concepts, refine gear geometry, and improve micro geometry and mesh alignment. The result was a more robust planetary transmission design that reduced detailed design time by weeks, cut peak-to-peak transmission error amplitude by up to 45%, and improved contact patterns, peak loads, and overall product quality.
