EASA partnered with Romax Technology to address a common CAE challenge: making complex gearbox durability analysis accessible to non-specialist users. Their engineers needed a way for sales and application teams to quickly determine whether an existing gearbox design could meet customer requirements without relying on expert transmission specialists for every analysis.

Romax Technology implemented an app built on RomaxDESIGNER and EASA’s low-code web-app platform, automating structural and durability analysis through a simple browser interface. Users can select a gearbox model, enter duty-cycle data, and run the analysis remotely, with results and reports generated automatically. The solution speeds up decision-making, reduces re-work and bottlenecks, and frees CAE experts to focus on higher-value work.
