ODIN, the European collaborative electric drivetrain project, worked with Romax Technology to tackle the challenge of reducing EV costs while maintaining high performance, durability, NVH quality, and sustainable manufacturing. The consortium needed a compact, mass-production-ready powertrain for electric vehicles, integrating gearbox, motor, and electronics without using permanent magnets.
