innoVision Engineering use CONCEPT and RomaxDESIGNER to achieve Right First Time designs, reducing development time and costs

innoVision Engineering, a Germany-based drivetrain product and software development consultancy, needed a way to optimize gearbox, transmission, and driveline concepts against user-specified targets while shortening development time and controlling costs. Working with Romax Technology, they used Romax Concept alongside their own Optimizer tool to evaluate many early-stage design options and identify the strongest candidates quickly.

Romax Technology’s Concept and RomaxDESIGNER enabled innoVision Engineering to move from 126 possible design options down to a single final solution through a structured three-stage process. The software provided early predictions of efficiency, vibration, and cost, then supported detailed optimization of shafts, gears, bearings, and micro geometry, improving contact patterns and helping reduce development time, lower R&D costs, and increase productivity.
