Large Cellular Phone Company, one of the world’s largest cellular providers and the largest no-contract carrier in the United States, turned to Rolta International for help upgrading its aging Oracle EBS environment. The company needed to move off a de-supported version of Oracle EBS and reduce the high maintenance burden created by a heavily customized order-to-fulfillment process.

Rolta International upgraded the customer from Oracle EBS 11.5.10 to 12.1.2 across Financials, Purchasing, and Supply Chain, using its Rolta EBS Implementation Manager Tool to identify customizations and rework them with R12 best practices. The project re-engineered 150+ custom business objects, leveraged new R12 features to eliminate unnecessary customization, and improved the order-to-fulfillment cycle while removing the risk of 11i de-support, with 50% of the delivery handled offshore through a global development model.
