Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services (IL&FS), a leading Indian infrastructure development and finance company, needed a way to monitor Common Service Centers (CSCs) across a heterogeneous environment with minimal human intervention. IL&FS engaged Rolta International to help deploy an on-line remote monitoring capability that could collect uptime data from remote terminals without disrupting CSC services.

Rolta International delivered a CSC On-Line Remote Monitoring Application, including a thin micro agent that runs on both Windows and Linux and forwards uptime data to a central web-based decision support system. The solution enabled dashboards and reports for centralized analysis, resulting in improved SLA management, better CSC infrastructure monitoring, end-to-end alarms and scheduling, and centralized CSC management.
